The Board of Regents is pleased to present a KUDOS award to Connor Thierstein, Workstation Support Associate for Central IT Client Services located on the UNO campus.
When an IT problem occurs, there is almost always a level of angst involved. When Connor comes to the aid you will have a positive outcome. His dedication to his role and his commitment to providing exceptional service make him ideal for this recognition. His work ethic, attitude, and professionalism have significantly contributed to the success of the department.
Nominator Rachel Radel says, “Connor consistently goes beyond normal expectations. After resolving technical issues in our office, Connor proactively follows up to ensure that the problems remain fixed. This demonstrates his attention to detail and his deep commitment to customer satisfaction. He will recall specific issues and willingly verify that everything is still functioning smoothly.
Connor’s responsibilities extend across our entire campus, and there have been multiple occasions where he was seen running between buildings to ensure he meets everyone’s needs promptly.
He approaches every challenge with an unwavering ‘can-do’ attitude, never avoiding full ownership of a problem or suggesting a task was someone else’s responsibility. While collaborating with his counterparts, he ensures the job is done efficiently and professionally. As a testament to his strong character, he works effectively as part of a team while maintaining a positive demeanor.
Commitment to excellence in his daily work, managing his time wisely, and working quickly and efficiently to minimize client downtime ensures all return to their tasks as soon as possible. Connor is an invaluable asset to our department.
Connor’s guests are his supervisor, Eric Hinsdale and Bret Bieber, Assistant Vice President of IT Client Services. Join me as we congratulate Connor on this recognition to the University of Nebraska System.
