The University of Nebraska System's government relations team advances the interests of the University of Nebraska System at the capitol in Lincoln, in Washington, D.C., and among our community partners and neighbors.
The government relations team provides the link in maintaining this crucial relationship for students, faculty, staff and all Nebraskans. As an institution of public higher education, state and federal assistance received by the NU System is used to support the success of Nebraska students, faculty, researchers and our constituents.
Our mission is to build productive relationships with state and federal legislators, policy makers, and third-party advocates to increase understanding of the University System’s role in Nebraska’s future.
